I’m looking to have competitors enter information in a form that they can later change. If I use a form with the registration add-on …. they are not logged-in yet so I assume those entries would not be editable in the future.
I’m thinking that if I use a form to get them registered I could then redirect them to a page (form) where they must log-in first to complete the rest of the information. Ultimately I’d like POST Data to pre-populate the common fields to avoid double key-in by the user.
Can it be done? Is there a different / better way to accomplish this?
Cheers,
Glenn

Users can edit the same form that they use to register because the user ID that is created upon registration is saved with the entry, so as long as you set the options to allow users to edit previous responses, that should work for you.

If you would still like the process to be in two steps/two forms, that can also be done. Just let me know and I can point you in the right direction.

We have the same issue, we would like that people, submitting an "application form", will be registered and will receive an email of confirmation with the access and the instruction to edit the form whenever they prefer.
Currently, we already set the plug-in and form but we are missing this step.
May you give us some advices?
Best regards.

@babotel,
What isn't working in your setup? You have your form set to allow only one entry per user and to allow users to edit previous responses, correct? If this is set up properly, they should just be able to return to the same form and update/modify their entry.
