Rename Radio Button Labels

I’m using radio buttons to allow the user to select “Draft” “Private” “Published” of the post, is there a way to use different labels for theses selections?

I’ve tried to change the labels in the form but they always go back to standard wordpress labels when saved.

I would like them to read “Expired” “Private” “Public”
