Hi
I want to save a couple of forms from one site to import into another – the templates don’t seem to appear as saved forms. I followed the directions about creating a template folder inside and outside of the formidable folder but no luck – I’ve attached one example. If you can see any reason why it might be causing a problem, and could offer any advice it would be very welcome please.
Thanks,
Chris

Your attached file ends in _.html. Is this the way the template you uploaded for import is named? If so, please remove the _.html from the end of the filename. Next, what is the example path on the settings page, and what is the path you have entered?

Hi -yes - I used .php on the file - I couldn't upload the php file to the Formidable forum as it said that type of file wasn't allowed.
The template path I have on the settings page is:
/gmfequipment.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/formidable/classes/templates
And I added the 2 template files to this folder with the .html part removed.

Is this the example path shown beneath that setting?

Hi Yes that's correct. I added the templates into that folder using FTP but when I try and load them in it doesn't seem to see/recognise them.
Thanks

The template you uploaded is fine, but can you upload the other as well so I can check there are no issues with it?

Yes of course that's attached here. Many thanks for taking the time to check it. Again I've kept the .html part so it allows me to upload.

That one is fine too. Please create a folder outside of the formidable folder and drop only those two templates in it. Is it possible you need to change the permissions on those files so your server can access them?

Thanks Stephanie - I'll create a new folder then look into the permissions.

Hi Stephanie
Still no joy with my templates - I looked into the permissions to make read/write for everyone, took off the .html and created a folder under wp-content/templates and still nothing. I've attached the screengrabs as it appears 'no templates found'
I'v followed the instructions on your web page but surely I must be missing something - can't think what.
Regards,
Chris

Your template path does is not correct. The example path below is what you should copy. Your path should start with /home/gmfequip/public_html/....
