Hi,
I just noticed something odd where I changed the author on an existing entry. I would expect that FRM would switch ownership of the entry to the new author. However the new author is unable to view/edit the edit form.
To be clear, here’s what I did. Created entry as X. Went into admin and switched author to Y (did that as the admin user). Then signed in as Y and tried to view form. Not able to view/edit it, although the database shows Y as the author in the posts table.
Then signed in as admin and went to FRM and ticked the box for “allow users to edit other user’s content.” Revisited the form as user Y. And then I could view/edit it.
I’ve got a workaround for now but this seems like a bug…

We'll look into this and get back to you.

I'm still having this problem where only the original creator of content is able to edit it on the front end. In my project, there may be co-authors and/or scenarios in which someone creates the content and then another person is assigned to finish it.
FRM seems to not respect the "author" chosen in the WP back-end interface, so the second author won't be able to view the editable version except through the backend, which I'm using FRM to avoid.
Wondering if you have a solution for this or an idea for a fix?
Thanks.

We are considering this, but it's not currently built-in. The workaround for now would be to also change the user selected in the user ID field in your form.
