http://formidablepro.com/knowledgebase/allow-users-to-edit-previous-entries/
is it true if i import 2000 entries that the user cannot edit them unless i manually update each entry or each field – yikes – i must be reading this wrong….
I am worried as i have 2500 users….
what do you suggest – how do i transfer 2500 users info into formidable easiest – If I have an email and if I do not, users are paid.

Looks like we need to update that knowledge base page. If you import with the user login or ID in the user ID column, the entry will be matched to that user.

can you clarify - i have an empty formidable database,
I have a file with 1000 members - are you saying I need to give each user an id in an id column and then import the file to Formidable
does the form already have to be created and with exact fields?
i would like to do this if i can - but think detailed instructions might help
thanks

Your csv needs to have one column that will hold the user login of the user you would like linked to that entry. I don't think we check email addresses, but you can try importing a couple test entries to check.
