Can’t view form submissions

I downloaded the formidable forms widget on wordpress because i needed to make an area for people to submit questions on the sidebar on my website.  However, when I log in and go the admin page and click on the formidable forms tab, I can’t actually view what people have submitted to my form.  Do I have to pay and upgrade to formidable pro to be able to view what people entered into my form? Seems like that should be advertised before i used it.

Exact same question here. Seemed to have seen something about having to deal with HTML or something like that to print form entries from database. Also thought of saving every and each email received when people submit my form. Not practical at all... is that what the free version offers? If that's the case I also think this should have been advertised up front. There's no use for the free version like this... I hope there's a better way.

Just checked the Knowledge Database and found this: http://formidablepro.com/knowledgebase/show-form-responses-on-your-site/

It says I can use a shortocode. Only that I did (I created a new page, pasted the shortcode and edited it with the form id) but when I see the page the shortcode is not interpreted, so it reads exactly as I wrote it and of course no table is shown.

Sop the question persists: how am I supposed to see the data?

This is a limitation of the free version. To access the entries page, reports page, or to list/view entries on the front-end of your site, you will need the Pro version.

Our free version has very limited functionality to allow users to sample the interface and to help them determine if our premium plugin will fit their needs.

We apologize if you were expecting more features to be built into this free version of the plugin.

Also, this is noted on the plugin page.

Thanks for the quick reply. I understand that seeing the reporst in the backend is a Pro feature, but the question still stands: how are we supposed to see the entries? By going directly to the database then (via our server providers for instance)?

In the free version, tracking email notifications is the only method of viewing the submitted information. Or, like you said you can find them in the database. If you choose to upgrade to Pro, all your entries(past and future) will be displayed on the entries page.

Thanks Steve, that's all clear now. I do believe you should explain this better, this is NOT what I understood when I installed the plugin in my website and as a possible customer this free version didn't let me do enough to decide to buy the Pro Version.

I decided to change to a Google Docs form which actually allows me to do more things than Formidable's free version. Thanks again for your help.

Google Docs is a great alternative with a lot of powerful features. In the future, if you need a more integrated solution with everything built into WordPress, we do offer a 30-day money-back guarantee to allow you to test all the features of the plugin.

We understand that our plugin isn't for everyone, and we try to make it easy for people to make sure that our plugin will meet their needs without losing money or investment. Sorry the free version wasn't quite powerful enough for your needs. Best of luck in your project.
