I have a field called “Order Status” designated as Admin Only, but it does not appear in my entries on the back-end (I am the admin). Is this normal behavior? I can see it in a front-end custom display. I would like to be able to edit this field to change the status at different stages of order production. I’m probably misunderstanding how it’s supposed to work but I haven’t been able to find detailed instructions for this option.
ETA: one clarification – I can see the field when I click to “View” the entry, but not “Edit”.

Update: I just realized the reason it wasn't displaying is because it is behaving as if it had a logic condition, which it doesn't...so if I select "No" on "Have we printed all these images before?" (which I do have set to trigger other fields) it also triggers the "Order Status" field, which I do not have set as conditional. Bug?

Can you please attach a screenshot of the field options for your order status field?

Attached. I have also noticed that if I position the field above the triggering "Have we printed all these images before?" field, then it behaves as expected, and is visible unconditionally. When I position it below the trigger, the conditional behavior returns. Would it be helpful for me to PM you a login?

Do you have a section heading with conditional logic? It sounds like this field is inside a conditional section.

Ah, yes, I do have a section heading, and it is conditional, so that's it...I didn't realize the conditional of a section heading would apply to everything below it. I also see that I can delimit the end of a section with a new section header, move the order status field below that, and I'm good. Thank you!! This is such a well thought out tool.
